Sharing Great Ideas

As a way of providing a robust opportunity for employees to learn about new product developments and innovations, Henkel’s Bridgewater, NJ site hosted a poster session in December.  With the ultimate goal of increasing awareness across the business and idea sharing, the posters covered topics ranging from bio-based technologies to predictive capabilities.

“Awareness creates innovation,” said Chuck Paul, Vice President, Adhesives Research. “Giving scientists the chance to engage with other scientists and people throughout the business fosters innovation.”

Approximately 100 employees participated in the session, viewing 25 posters created by colleagues. Along with the ability to share with colleagues, the poster session also provided recognition for outstanding displays and technologies. Award winners were selected by popular vote.

The Bridgewater site serves as the North America headquarters for the Packaging, Consumer Goods and Construction (AI) business.  Employees participating in the Poster Session represented both the AI business and the global Adhesives Research team.
